Goals:
  1. To do puppet shows for elementary school students
  2. To exchange puppets or bookmarks
  3. To create and design puppets
  4. To involve and engage families with books and puppets
  5. To facilitate knowledge exchange for puppetry
  6. To create a database of cultural puppet scripts
  7. To do book talks and introduce new authors by using puppets

Puppet shows and resources

Outreach Librarians' project entitled, "Creative Learning through the Arts," is based on an established oral tradition that has been used successfully over time to develop children's imagination and creativity through art forms such as storytelling, puppetry, visual aids, and creative writing.
